For a thousand years Castle Bromwich was a small village in the leafy Warwickshire countryside; it was part of a large area of trees and fields and woods and farms called the Forest of Arden.
Then in the 1930s, housing estates were built which joined Castle Bromwich onto the City of Birmingham.
Castle Bromwich has a long history and you can still find the evidence as you follow this Castle Bromwich Village Trail.
